Stego-Lab is an app for steganography, EXIF editing, decoding, watermark workflows, and batch image processing. Image handling and metadata editing are designed to happen locally on the device.

Data the app may access

  • photos from your photo library
  • files you choose from the Files app
  • image metadata such as EXIF, TIFF, and GPS information
  • text, images, or files you choose to embed or decode

Purpose of processing

  • loading images and files
  • embedding hidden content
  • decoding hidden content
  • reading and editing metadata
  • exporting or saving processed images

Servers, tracking, and links

Stego-Lab works locally on device. The app does not automatically send photos, files, or metadata to external servers. It does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. The app may contain external links such as GitLab, Buy Me a Coffee, or PayPal. Those services are governed by their own policies.

Permissions and cryptography

Photo Library permission is requested only when you choose to load images from Photos or save exported images back to Photos. The app may use optional password-based encryption to protect embedded content before it is written into an image.

Stego-Lab ist eine App für Steganografie, EXIF-Bearbeitung, Dekodierung, Watermark-Workflows und Batch-Verarbeitung von Bildern. Bildverarbeitung und Metadatenbearbeitung erfolgen grundsätzlich lokal auf dem Gerät.

Auf welche Daten die App zugreifen kann

Server, Tracking und externe Links

Stego-Lab arbeitet lokal auf dem Gerät. Fotos, Dateien oder Metadaten werden nicht automatisch an externe Server übertragen. Die App verwendet kein Tracking, keine Werbung und keine Analyse-Tools. Externe Links, etwa zu GitLab, Buy Me a Coffee oder PayPal, unterliegen den Datenschutzbestimmungen der jeweiligen Anbieter.

Berechtigungen und Kryptografie

Der Zugriff auf Fotos wird nur dann angefragt, wenn du Bilder aus Fotos laden oder exportierte Bilder in Fotos speichern willst. Die App kann optionale passwortbasierte Verschlüsselung verwenden, um eingebettete Inhalte vor dem Schreiben in ein Bild zu schützen.
